Move your campaign from Notion to Realmkit.
Export your Notion workspace as it is. Realmkit keeps every page word for word, sorts the pages into a connected campaign and asks you only where it is unsure.
Measured on the Notion export of a running campaign. The 14 questions take a few minutes in the review; everything else waits in Automatic for one click.
Bring the Notion notes as they are.
- 1Open the page that holds your campaign.
- 2Open the ⋯ menu at the top right and choose Export.
- 3Pick Markdown & CSV and include subpages, with folders for them.
- 4Upload the zip to Realmkit as it is, or unzip it and pick the folder. Uploading starts right away.
Your Notion structure becomes a campaign.
- Every page, word for wordEach page is kept as you wrote it, images included, in the same folders as in Notion.
- A page of its own kindSessions, encounters, characters, places, quests and homebrew get their own pages, with stat blocks where your notes have them.
- Database rows join their pagesA row of a Notion database joins the page it belongs to, and its Type column tells Realmkit what the page is.
- Links become connectionsA link from one page to another becomes a connection: who lives where, who belongs to which group, which session a character appeared in.
- A short list to confirmThe tavern keeper mentioned in three session logs gets an entry; you keep it, merge it or drop it.
- Workspace lists stay outNotion’s own member list and system files never enter your campaign.
Realmkit asks only where it is unsure.
What a page is about, or whether two names are the same person: those are the questions. Everything Realmkit is sure of waits in Automatic for one click. Apply adds it to your campaign, Undo takes back what an Apply added, and Cancel import takes back everything the import made.
Moving from Notion.
Do I need to tidy my Notion first?
No. Export it as it is. Realmkit reads your folders and links to see how you filed things.
Is my original text changed?
No. Every page is kept word for word as a note, and the pages Realmkit writes link back to it.
My notes are in two languages.
That works. Notes in several languages import together, and you can have them translated while importing.
Can I import again later?
Yes. A note that is already in your campaign is recognised and is not added twice.
Can I take everything back out?
Yes. Campaign Settings → Export downloads the whole campaign as Markdown files, images and a copy Realmkit can restore.
What about images in my pages?
They come in with the page and go into the campaign’s media gallery.
